KNOXVILLE, TN (September 29, 2022) – Tennova Healthcare - Turkey Creek is pleased to announce the orthopedic service line expansion with the return of Jon Mark MacNaughton, M.D., to the staff at Tennova Orthopedics of Turkey Creek at 10800 Parkside Drive, Knoxville, TN. This gives a boost in orthopedic services available from Tennova Healthcare.
Dr. MacNaughton graduated from the University of Tennessee and specializes in general orthopedics, total joints, arthroscopy, fracture care, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy and arthroplasty robotics. As an established orthopedic surgeon committed to his specialty, Dr. MacNaughton is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). The AAOS engages in health policy and advocacy activities on behalf of musculoskeletal patients and the profession of orthopedic surgery to support the highest quality musculoskeletal care available.
