Family medicine physician provides comprehensive care for adults of all ages

KNOXVILLE, TN (August 21, 2019) – Tennova Healthcare recently welcomed Eddie Brown, D.O., family medicine physician, to his new medical practice at Tennova Primary Care & Occupational Health – East Towne, located at 4711 Centerline Drive in Knoxville. Dr. Brown specializes in caring for men, women, and young adults ages 18 and older. He offers well checks, sick visits, sports medicine, annual health screenings, and minor procedures including joint injections and skin lesion removal. Dr. Brown is also dedicated to preventive care and management of chronic conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

A Knoxville native, Dr. Brown earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. He completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Franciscan St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL; and a family medicine residency at Wellmont Health System in Norton, VA.
